About the Artist
Sheri is an amazing, talented artist and her love of art began at a young age.
Sheri grew up drawing and painting. When she was in the second grade she had a drawing win 1st place and was posted on the school bulletin board. This inspired her to follow her love of drawing and painting which broadened her to look beyond into other areas of arts.
She won a full college scholarship in 1982 for dramatic monologues and theatrical arts; when she went on to major in Theatre and Communications while minoring in Fine Arts; studying drawing, painting, and sculpting.
In 1997 Sheri went back to school and got a degree in jewelry design, manufacturing and repair; working as a fine jeweler for many years. Enjoying the thrill of learning she went back to school and obtained another Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management in 2007. She was blessed with an incredible husband and two precious children from whom she finds amazing inspiration from daily.
Sheri is constantly taking classes that improve upon her knowledge and skill base. Every year she attends the International Face and Body Painting Convention, learning the newest tips and tricks in painting. Wherever there is a workshop, she is there actively learning all that she can. She stays current with the newest trends so that she can meet the needs of her customers, bringing them the very best and latest this art form offers. Face painting and body art is her full-time job, not a hobby or a part-time job. She is committed to the integrity of her art and satisfaction of her customers.
Studying photography has assisted her in capturing her artwork as well as the artwork of others, and is frequently commissioned for other photography jobs to photograph weddings, family portraits, a boudoir session or a new baby portrait.
Sheri loves learning and has a broad interest in many art forms. She finds great delight when she can bring a smile to the faces to those with whom she shares her art. She is more than just an artist, she is an entertainer, who will add great energy and fun to your special event!
